I can’t thank everyone enough for making this OSS a huge success. I want to thank the organizers, volunteers, vendors and guests for helping me raise over $6,000 for local youth mental health.
Headshots 4 Mental Health – September 18th, 2016
A huge thank you to Ahmad from Knight Image Photography and Wasim from Wasim Jarrah Real Estate Services – and the wonderful Hoda. This event was a huge success thanks to these 3 wonderful people. Customers signed up to have their professional headshots taken by Ahmad and he did a fabulous job – of course. Thanks to everyone involved – we were able to raise awareness and $655 for local youth mental health programs – YAHOO.
Ride Don’t Hide – June 26th, 2016
Wow, it was an AMAZING day with 579 riders in attendance, numbers of volunteers and definitely the great CMHA staff. All for the cause of ending the stigma and raising awareness and funds for Canadian Mental Health.
Rogers Daytime York Region
Heather Croft, Director of Philantrophy; Craig, Mel and I spent the day at Daytime Rogers talking about everything related to CMHA, The Ride Don’t Hide and Mental Health Awareness.
Hair Cut-a-thon
I can’t thank Nick from Haven Hideaway Hair Studio for donating his sales to CMHA. He gave up his whole Sunday to help raise money for local youth. Here are some pictures of the lovely customers who made this event such a huge success.

My Awesome Sister
This is my wonderfully AWESOME sister and my dad back in the early 1990’s.
They were avid cyclers. My sister now is dealing with a few mental illnesses.
Therefore, I am doing this ride in honor of her and am following in her footsteps by cycling.
