About Judy
I am an avid fundraiser and enjoy raising money for worthy organizations. From 2006 – 2015, I was a fundraiser for the annual Upper Canada Mall Easter Seals Run, founded by Joe Persechini. I had raised close to $40,000 over my 10 years of fundraising for E.S.O. I really did enjoy working with E.S.O. and providing them with the money so they can continue to help kids with physicial disabilities succeed.
As of 2015, I have moved on to another organization that is dear to my heart: The Canadian Mental Health Association – York and South Simcoe. They hold an annual event titled, “Mental Health in Motion” (previously Ride Don’t Hide) every June. My son and I participated in the 20km ride in June 2014.
Now, my boys and I participate every year, either walking, riding or running in the event.
My goal for the June 2024 ride is to raise $20,000 (which is my goal every year). The money that is raised for the ride-a-thon goes towards youth programming in York and South Simcoe as well as their program called MOBYSS- more can be read about it here – www.mobyss.ca
Please help me to get to my goal in any way you can. EVERY donation counts.
Thank you!
